Important Information for New Users

Once we validate the information you provided, you will be able to log onto the MCB Online Banking system using your chosen user id and password. Next, you will set up your security authentication.

During any online session, you will see today's starting balance, current balance and the available balance. If you change your start dates you can see up to 365 days of history.

If you receive an error message when attempting to sign-in or enroll, please contact a representative at Mound City Bank at 1-608-348-2685 or 1-888-622-6069 or email support@moundcitybank.com.

System Security

We are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of security available. In order to ensure that your information is protected, we have employed the following:

Encryption/Browser

MCB Online Banking requires a browser capable of high-security 128-bit encryption (SSL). Without this level of security, access will be denied. Since you are seeing this text, your current browser is capable of this level of security. However, should you attempt to access this site from another computer or browser that is not enabled for high-security, access will be denied.

We support Interent Explorer 5.0 or higher and Firefox 3.6.3 or higher. We will recommend a browser upgrade to customers requesting support who are using older browser versions no longer prevalent in the market - such as Microsoft, for example, no longer offers support for outdated versions of Internet Explorer.

In addition to 128-bit encryption, your browser must also have Javascript support enabled in order to view pages correctly.


Online Banking Service Agreement

    1. I hereby authorize Mound City Bank or its authorized agent to make payments to creditors for me, as I may authorize by personal computer from time to time and also authorize Mound City Bank to post such payments to my account.

    1. I understand that Mound City Bank or its authorized agent will use reasonable efforts to ensure payments reach creditors on time, but cannot guarantee the time a payment will be posted by a creditor.  Mound City Bank or its authorized agent will use reasonable effort in ensuring creditors reverse any service fee or late charge related to payment processing error.  I also understand that Mound City Bank or its authorized agent will not be responsible for any loss or penalty I may incur due to lack of sufficient funds or other conditions that may prevent the withdrawal of funds from my account.

    1. I understand that Mound City Bank or its authorized agents will carry out external transfers upon my request from/to Mound City Bank accounts and other financial institution accounts.  This ability requires an officer approval and may have fees attached to each transaction.

                          FREE Online Access
                          FREE Account Transfer
                          FREE Unlimited Bill Payments

               Free Checking, SuperNow Checking, HSA, and Business Checking
                          FREE Online Access
                          FREE Account Transfer (Not available for CD, IRA’S and Savers Club accounts)
                          $0.50 per Bill Payment (Not available for Savings, CD, IRA, Savers Club and Loans)                         

    1. If I have NOT used my Online Banking Bill Payment for a 3 month duration, I authorize Mound City Bank to terminate my bill payment rights.  I understand that I will lose my bill payment history and all of my payees that I have set up previously. 

    1. If I have NOT used my Online Banking account for a 3 month duration, I authorize Mound City Bank to terminate my Online Banking account.

    1. I consent to receiving electronic updated disclosures, account notices or any other items pertaining to my Mound City Bank account(s).
